“I completed a course of TMS therapy here and overall, it was a helpful experience. The treatment genuinely made a difference for me I noticed improvements in my anxiety/depression and felt more balanced after many years of struggling. I’m very grateful for the positive changes TMS brought to my life. That said, my experience toward the end of treatment was less positive. I felt that my doctor became somewhat dismissive and rushed, as if trying to push the idea that I was suddenly fully “cured” after over 20 years of living with diagnosed severe panic disorder/anxiety. Mental health progress is complex and ongoing, so that approach felt invalidating. In a way i felt suffocated and cornered. It was to the point where I purposely avoided my last appointment. I do believe TMS can be very effective and worth trying, but I hope future patients are given more understanding and realistic guidance as they transition out of treatment. Please do better doctor, being empathetic and soft spoken goes a long way.”
